LARGE VINTAGE WHIRLPOOL HARDWARE DEALER HANGING ADVERTISING CLOCK SIGN IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. This is a very rare and unique Whirlpool Dealer Lighted Clock Advertising sign. This sign came from a local hardware store in Sikeston, Missouri. This store flourished in our small town in the 1950's and I was lucky enough to acquire this sign from one of the surviving family members of the owner of the store. This hanging clock sign measures 35" X 12" X 7" and weighs approximately 15 lbs. It is illuminated and the lights work very well. The electrical cord is in good working condition. The frame surrounding the face of the clock is a little loose but can be glued back in place. However, the clock is currently not working but I was told that it could be repaired by someone who is familiar with clock repair. There are a few minor scratches on the face of the sign and the frame is in very good condition with no dents or scratches. Overall, the clock sign is in very good condition. This is a very unique item and I have not seen another one available anywhere. It is trully a one of a kind item that I believe is a highly collectible item.
