antique sterling silver pocket knife - $75 - (Hattiesburg, MS)

This silver pocket knife is hall marked on its blade with a profile facing left in cartouch, a cartouch containing what appears to be a letter of the alphabet, and a six-pointed star in a round cartouch.  Opened it is 5 1/2" and closed 3".  Condition is excellent commensurate with age and wear.  It opens and closes perfect. The Art Nouveau design has crisp detail and aesthetic quality.  It weighs .7 ounces on our postal scale.
