Early American Cast Iron Andirons with Classic Female Bust on Ionic Column - $2,200 - (Acton, MA)

I don't have detailed knowledge about these andirons but they look extremely similar to another pair of andirons currently listed on eBay priced at $2800. The description of this other pair says: "Rare pair of Early American cast iron Andirons 1790. See Wallace Nutting Furniture Treasure item 4068 for an example of the same pair. The listing in Nutting states " Rare Pair of Cast Andirons, One Is Welcome To Suppose Them To Be Any Fair Lady of The Olden Day. E. C. Hall, Longmeadow, Massachusetts." These andirons are 16" high, 9" wide and 15" deep. The pair weighs about 35 pounds (heavy!!). There is some partial makers mark on one of the dogs (see picture) but I can't decipher all of it; maybe "...INGEL..."? If anyone has information about these andirons, I would be very grateful if they could send it to me. Thanks in advance. It looks like there may have been repairs long ago where the dogs meet the upright part of the andirons (see pictures). In any case, the andirons are very solid. There is a slight bend to one of the dogs as you can see in the last picture. Shipping to the lower 48 only. Pickup possible in eastern Massachusetts or Cape Cod. That would certainly save on shipping. Please ask any questions you may have or if you want more pictures.
