Handmade BILLY HOGG Full Tooled Calf Roping Saddle 14 ?” - $4,950 - (Canyon, TX)

This is a lightly used handmade full acorn and oak leaf tooled calf roping saddle made by well known saddle maker Billy Hogg from Conway, Arkansas. It is marked with his maker stamp on the fenders, back of the cantle, and stirrup leather hobbles. The saddle is in very good condition and has not been ridden that much or roped out of that much. It appears to be all original and not altered in any way. The tree is sound. It has real sheep skin lining and comes with the original flank cinch. The saddle has been thoroughly cleaned and conditioned. There is a wear spot on the inside top right of the right hand stirrup shown in a close up picture, There is also a worn spot on the sheep skin lining from hauling in a saddle rack in a trailer. This is a quality well-built saddle and it has a lot of use left in it.
