Rare Antique/ Vintage Cloissone? Butterfly PAPERCLIP Decorative Collectible - $450 - (Pea Ridge, AR)
This is the most beautiful paperclip that I have ever seen!. I do not know for sure if this is a Cloisonne' creation, but this rare find has a wonderful 1" butterfly attached to the top, and he has glittering copper & green colors under it's clearly coated wings. This beautiful boy has a metal body that is finely detailed, as are his metal antennae, and all are firmly attached to a metal clip. The type of metal is unknown to me, and this fine treasure has not been appraised. He was with my great grandmother's collection of dolls, and trinket boxes. There is a tiny amount of rust on the end of the clip. He is a wonderful delight for the eyes, and a decorative collectible that is both unique and useful.
