This listing is for a Vintage TECHNO NOMURA (TN) USAF F-105 Thunderchief Battery Operated Tin Toy Airplane in good overall condition. Pilot and cockpit are in good condition, canopy release switch functions, landing gears are intact, functional and the axles are straight, nose cone is present and in good condition, battery compartment is in very good condition (we do not have UM-11.5V batteries to test functionality), electric motors are present, red clear plastic switch is present and in good condition at the rear of the tail. Lithograph work is in good overall condition with minimal scratches, scuffs and oxidation present; beautiful cream-white color. Fuselage is demarked with USAF FH-780, tail number 75780. Canopy missing, dent (repairable due to location, wings mount and remain tightly in place) just ahead of battery compartment, dent above left side star near the tail, slightly warped tail. Made in Japan in the late 1950s. Measures approximately: fuselage 18.5" long, 10.75" wingspan, rear horizontal stabilizer is 5.75" wide and 6.25" - 6.5" tall. Our research shows that the only other similar example of this specific item sold for 760.00 USD (excluding shipping) last year in slightly better condition.
