A splendid and refined Victorian beauty. From the elegant late 1800's comes this extraordinary and extraordinarily beautiful bow pin, artfully hand fabricated in 14k gold and accented with lovely dainty blue and white enamel flowers. Shiny 14K solid gold covered with lovely exquisite enamel blue & white flowers, a gold needle tied through in the center knot, featured on needle top is one small very clear, clean & white glittering old European cut diamond. The hook on the back allows for hanging lockets or watches. This is an excellent example of a Victorian period jewelry; functional and elegant. Hallmarked: 14K. Pin measures: 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch. Diamond measures approx: 2.30mm. Pin weighs: 6.6 grams. Condition: In great antique condition. This is an over a hundred year old pin, it has a few enamel losses on two tiny white leaves, and three on blue petals, which can only be seen under loop magnification, solid 14k gold tarnished on the back. The needle on the back is a different in color (silver) from the 14k gold. The needle might be original or replaced at a later time. The needle material is untested but is very sturdy with an equally sturdy attachment. "C" clasp has a security lock, and the needle appear strong and work perfectly.
