Chicago fire extinguisher. Manufactured by Racine Iron & Wire works, Racine, WI .Copper and brass, overall great shape could most certainly use a cleaning and polishing.Tank is empty, but will include cradle, bottle, and plug as seen in imagesThis is a SODA-ACID 2.5 Gallon BRASS and/or COPPER FIRE EXTINGUISHER. COPPER soda-acid fire extinguishers were made from the early 1900's until 1942. BRASS soda-acid fire extinguishers were made from 1942 until 1969. I am not a metallurgist, so I cannot specifically state that the body is made from copper or brass. I know the top lid that spins off and the top of this extinguisher are made from brass.
