VINTAGE BRITAINS SET#1254 " PONTOON SECTION ROYAL ENGINEERS" BOXED - $750 - (Elkhorn, NE)

This is a wonderful addition for your collection! This set is light harness as used in the latter part of 1920's. Set is in a Fred Whisstock Box. Please see James Opie's "The Great Book of Britain's" page 188, Picture 303. Also, Joe Wallis's "Armies of the World Britain's Ltd 1925 - 1941" page 103, Plate 203. There seems to be some confusion on these sets as you can tell by looking up this set in the two references I have listed. There was also a set 203 & 203A.The flat wagon frame is painted green on this set. Please feel free to ask questions and request more pictures. Accept PayPal only without prior to bidding approval.
