RARE!~New In Box RUSTIE Native American WINDSONG Porcelain Doll~42" TALL~w/Stand~COA (Still Sealed)~Limited Edition 0197/2000 World-WideThis is a Beautiful Porcelain Doll, and appears to be Native American Inspired along the lines of the Woodland Indian Tribes: Odawa, Pottawatomi or Ojibway, or--"The Three Fires". Being Native American myself, Ojibway (Chippewa) of Nawash First Nation, I would lean more toward the Algonquion Tribes because the feathers, beads, porcupine quills (which the porcupine quills would have been represented by the cream colored 'beads'), buckskin dress and leggings/moccasins incorporated into the doll's outfit--all are elements that would have been plentiful and Indigenous in the Woodlands area and easily accessible to our People and might have been used in everyday attire. This Doll Features:~a long beaded suede Dress (Which would have been Representive of Buckskin)~a beautiful headdress with large feathers (Native women would Not have worn a 'Headdress'--Only men would have, but that is Artistic license of the artist), although they Would have worn feathers in their hair. ~Details of the dress are as follows: 4 strands of beads in the necklace, 47 strands of 44 beads each on the top portion of the dress, 16 strands of 34 beads on each sleeve, and many more along the hem. ~Doll has hazel eyes set off by both upper and lower lashes. ~Doll is in Original box with COA (Certificate of Authenticity), which COA is Sealed and has Never been opened (Pic #7 & 8). This is a Limited Edition, #197 of 2000 World-wide. The box is a bit rough due to shelf wear (See Pic), which however does not affect the Beauty of the Doll inside. Please see pictures for detail.
