Spectacular antique ca. 1853 sculpture by the famous European listed artist Victor Bruyneel. He was born in Belgium in 1828 and died in Belgium in 1890. His studio was in Paris. He is known for his art sculptures in bronze. This bronze bust of a girl, displays a high piled and curls coiffeur with a flower decorated plunging neckline dress with ruffles, and has a sublime reddish - brown patina. Bruyneel sculptures do not show up every day and this is a must for the discerning collector. The base is a red marble with white veins. The sculpture is signed. The bust is in excellent condition.
