1/4 Plate Rare Horse Race Tintype Daguerreotype Thermoplastic Case/Box ~ F. Goll - $299 - (Ramsey, IN)

This thermoplastic and wood case/box is in good condition. Top part of the catch is missing. Measures 5" x 4" x 1". The top is thermoplastic and the base appears to be wood. Not sure if it was a specially made case/box, all parts seems to be original. The engraver's name F. Goll appears in the midline beneath the central design. The detail on the top is quite beautiful with the horse racing scene.
