W-15, WB-104 CSA Speared Olive Bud Reverse. A beautiful example of this popular collector variety. The speared olive bud reverse with a die line through the olive bud is a popular Civil War issue, minted while the New Orleans facility was under the direction of the Confederate States of America. Golden fields with deep mottled blues and rose, perhaps from a kraft envelope, are wonderfully eye appealing. A great coin!
