Herman Miller Zenith Fiberglass Rocking Chair in Lemon Yellow. This chair has the rare red label signifying it was shipped from Venice (CA) and designed by Charles Eames. The Venice CA chairs are thought to be early to mid 1950's This is the generation of chairs that followed the 1st generation rope edge chairs. But please verify age by pictures and label as I am no expert. It still retains the large hockey puck shock mounts and thicker edges.Overall excellent original vintage condition. No restoration done other than a little cleaning. Fiberglass threads beautifully visible through the nice surface sheen. Some fading of color mainly by the arm rests.The base is original and is very nice. All hardware appears original.This chair is one of the nicer ones of this era. Since quality can vary so much in these older chairs, please rely on the many pictures taken to best judge condition.Questions welcome.I prefer to ship base and shell separately, if easily dissasembled.
