VINTAGE 1947 SINGER 221 FEATHERWEIGHT SEWING MACHINE s/n AH123916 My mother was an accomplished seamstress and worked for Singer. She travelled around the country showing all of the Singer salespeople the new machines, accessories and techniques. This was one of her sewing machines. It is all original and in great shape. All of its features work properly. Please look closely at the photos as there are a number of accessories and the travel case included in this auction. According to singer-featherweight.com, the serial number indicates that it was built in the summer of 1947 in Elizabethport, New Jersey. Thank you for your interest.
