This is a 5 coin 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set in its original packaging materials as sent from the US Mint. There were just under 100,000 of these sets minted in the United States in 2011 to celebrate the 25th year of silver eagle production. The coins made include: The American Silver Bullion Eagle, no mint mare (there were additional millions of these made in 2011), the uncirculated (Burnished) West Point Silver Eagle (W mint mark, an additional tens of thousands made in 2011) and the San Francisco uncirculated (burnished) Silver Eagle (S mint mark, none were made prior,none have been made since, ~100,000 were made in total), the West Point silver proof American Eagle (also a W mint mark and several tens of thousands were made of this coin in 2011 and the Philadelphia Reverse Proof silver eagle (P mint park, never made prior to 2011, but a few have been made since, only ~100,000 exist in total for this coin). This set is coveted by collectors due to the limited production and diminished numbers from breaking them up for grading and selling! It is, in my opinion, one of the nicest set of coins and packaging the US Mint has ever done for the world of coins!
