Offered for your consideration a RARE Vintage 17 Jewel Ladies Italian Lorett 14K Gold Watch w/ Solid 14K Gold Band - "brick" style 14K Gold band marked 14K Corletto Italy. Back of case is marked 14K Corletto Italy Weight with movement 20 Grams Weight without movement 17.5 gr. Crystal has light scratches and wear, there are 2 small rings that connect each end of the safety chain to the band it is possible that those 2 small rings are not gold ( they are darker in color) Watch looks beautiful, but only runs about 15 min, needs some cleaning, servicing, adjustments. I have noticed that there are no "scratch marks" / numerals on the inside of the case indicating it has ever been repaired or adjusted. Initially watch ran for a few minutes when "tapped" on side & would stop. When I took the watch apart in order to inspect the movement I discovered that once the movement was spinning and then placed on the side opposite the crown it would run for 15 minutes and stop. If the case was turned right side or moved or any other position it stopped movement. I continued to test the watch over a 48 hour period to see if it would change and it would only run about 15 minutes then stop when resting on side opposite the crown...I am not a watch expert - but it is going to take someone who is experienced with watch repair to make the necessary adjustments to have the watch running consistently. Never the less... this is a Rare watch and they seldom come up for sale. It would make a good investment for the collector. If you have any questions please send message Thank you for looking!
