Vintage 1950's Marshall Field & Co Pale Yellow Baby Bunting Made in Switzerland - $28 - (Chicago, IL)

This beautiful vintage baby bunting is from the Marshall Field & Company, made in Switzerland. The tag states Made for the very young. The care tag states Orlon by DuPont 100% acrylic Made in Switzerland Machine Wash Warm Gentle Tumble Dry Low Do Not Bleach Do Not Iron. There is no size tag, so various measurements taken while laying flat and zippered up are included below: Shoulder to Shoulder: 11 1/2"Armpit to Armpit: 11 1/2"Front length from neck to bottom: 23 1/2"Sleeve length: 7 1/2"Neck opening when zipped: 11" diameter - 5 1/2" while laying flat. Length from waist down: 15 1/2" The zipper is 15" long and has a small hole at the very bottom to the right of the zipper. The very top right of the zipper and its track has come undone as well, but in a very minor manner, and still zips up completely. It does get a touch stuck while unzipping at the very top. There is a small string that can be used to tie a little tighter around the waist as well. There is also a convenient hood attached to help keep baby nice and warm. This item is very clean, and no stains can be found. There are no unpleasant scents present, and is coming from a smoke free home. The yarn is very soft and supple.
