RARE High quality stonewware figure of a reclining cow. Not signed. As you can see the clay used is a tan colour, these photos taken outdoors with natural light. Very hard high quality stoneware which has a high temp fired multi coloured glaze, mostly brown earth tones. Creates a high tone when tapped. Exceptional quality. The estate where we bought it said most likely 1970's picked up during the travels - which rings true - I knew the previous owner. Not signed, no makers mark. Unknown origin. Circa 1970 through 1980's ?? approx. width=24 , overall depth=13 , height=11 cm Weight=0.585 Kg.
