Vintage 1979 Guild Bluegrass D-25 Acoustic Guitar - USA - Warhorse Player - $550 - (Mobile, AL)

1979 Guild D25 Bluegrass acoustic guitar. This guitar has played in front of lots of crowds. Shows lots of wear but is structurally sound. The sound has aged nicely. Very comfortable action. Has an electric pickup installed but has very little guitar sound and lots of hum (maybe a bad ground). Lots of scuffs, scratches, dings and finish wear. Some soundboard wear near pickguard. Part of pickguard is peeling up. 100% player. 25-1/2" scale. Right hand. Medium to heavy fret wear. Lots of finish wear and some guitar stand/play marks on back of neck. Faint finish crack near headstock that I thought might be a neck repair but did not show anything under UV light source. Some finish checking. Bridge has a repaired crack. Could use a new set of strings. Nut is approximately 1-11/16". Includes non original chipboard hard case. If you are looking for a guitar tells a crowd you are a true journeyman.
