Senate Chamber Liz Crooks XXXX@uiowa.edu 319-335-XXXX Cost: free Juno's Exploration of Jupiter Juno arrived at Jupiter on July fourth as the 1st spacecraft to orbit over the poles of the giant planet. Juno's overall objectives are twofold: 1st, Juno is designed to peer deep inside Jupiter to provide clues as to its origin and evolution. By better understanding the origins of Jupiter, we better understand the origin and evolution of Earth and the other planets. 2nd, Juno's unique polar orbit will enable it to study Jupiter's brightest-in-the-solar system auroras and associated phenomena. It is in this way the instrument from the University of Iowa will be utilized. Reception to follow. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Liz Crooks in advance at XXXX@uiowa.edu or 319-335-XXXX.
