This is an antique hat box made of leather with the original interior padding for a derby hat. Lock monogram says "MJC". Lots of cracks in the leather as the leather is somewhat dry. Top left edge of lid is tearing away. Original padding and lining is in excellent condition. Brass hardware. NO KEY. Measures 13 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 11 1/8".
