Antique oval reverse painting. It measures approx. 16 x 22", in wood frame with bubble glass. It's painted on the picture ...On The Danube. The reverse painting and the convex bubble glass are in very nice condition for their age. The frame does have some damage on the edge trim. If this bothers you, you could easily remove the trim strip around the picture frame and paint it brown or gold.The Danube is the longest river within today's European Union – and second-longest on the continent – the Danube River originates in Germany's Black Forest, and flows in a southeasterly direction through central and eastern Europe. There are many castles along that river. Please understand that I do not clean up old primitives because some people like them 'as is' (item will be dirty and need cleaning).
