Vintage autographed photo Primo Carnera World Heavyweight Champion 1933 - $650 - (Halifax, NS)

Autographed in black ink. This vintage photo is 8 X 10. There is significant creasing on the left side and middle top. A scrape mark can be seen at his right shoulder. There are 2 dents on the top border edge, and one on the right border edge There is creasing at the corners There is a brown stain above the inscription, and light creasing above it. This photo is inscribed to K O Christner, his opponent who Primo had stopped in December, 1932 Primo Carnera won the World Heavyweight Championship by stopping Jack Sharkey in 1933. He had successful defenses against Paulino Uzcudun, and Tommy Loughran.In 1934 Primo lost his title when he was stopped by Max Baer . Upon retirement from boxing Primo went into Wrestling and the Movies. Postage will have a Tracking Number.
