GCV Bourree 750E, 2011, 4/4 size Violin - $2,000 - (Ashville, OH)

Full bodied sound with rich depth in tone. Very mature tone quality. When I found this instrument in southern Ohio, I bought it and played it as principal second violinist for the local symphony. It's very accessible and responsive. Can easily handle any major violin concertos (Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn). The instrument is well balanced across the low and high end. Comes with a new case. I've had a formal insurance appraisal for 2,500 but paid much less which is reflected in my pricing. If you are looking for a bluegrass instrument, the current bridge is nicely suited for playing double stops and chords.
