outstanding mesoamerican necklace - $150 - (Monterey, VA)

This is a truly exquisite Mesoamerican necklace. A physician friend of mine took yearly trips to Mexico and Peru every year seeking authentic ancient pottery. Since he knew about my interest in ancient artifacts, he would bring back items he felt would be of interest to me. These necklaces were some of the relics he brought back over 50 years ago. It is one of three that he brought back and is fashioned from agate; jadeite and serpentine. The stone hanging from the bottom is heavily tallied. This necklace is truly a masterpiece and ,I feel, is definitely authentic. Thanks for looking; DOC V
