Weaving Boat Shuttle From Beautiful Curley BirdsEye Maple - With 4" Bobbin Handmade by Local Craftsman on Oregon Coast This shuttle was made by a cottage craftsman from beautiful Curley Maple with lots of Bird's Eyes peeking at you. The pictures are the best description of this wood. The rod for holding the bobbin is secured in place at both ends using hidden magnets. This allows for a sleek clean look on the top, bottom and sides of the shuttle. This shuttle is open on the top and bottom. The tips are 1/8" above the center of the shuttle to help avoid having the shuttle digging into the bottom warp threads.
