rare Deco narrow 25" wide Lundstrom antique stacking barrister bookcase Vintage - $850 - (Massillon, OH)
Rare antique Deco barrister stacking bookcase in a narrow (25-1/4") width. Comes complete with 5 book sections that can interchange positions, one base, and a top cap. As seen in the photos I have the two taller (13-1/4" high) sections at the bottom. I have never come across this Deco style before. Made by Lundstrom. They have an original black painted edge on the front side that gives it a nice contrast against the walnut wood. The wooden handles are also black. Overall the total height of the bookcase is 67" and it is 11" deep. Complete, sturdy, and fully functional. Has normal surface wear including scratches & scuffs. There is a veneer chip at the back edge at a couple places (see closeup photo with ruler). The bottom section has a replaced back and the back edge on one side has a long, thin strip of missing veneer as shown in the final photo. This can be picked up at my home (zip code 44666) or you can arrange your own shipper. Most items i list are from local estates and usually they are in areas of collecting that I have little or no knowledge of.
