I'm pleased to have the opportunity to present for bid today on eBay a rare Antique 18th Century French Farmhouse Painted Pine Cylinder Roll Top Escritoire Desk Chest with Secret Hidden Drawer. The escritoire features multiple drawers, hand crafted dovetail chamfered construction, pullout top drawer with felt writing slope, and sliding door compartments. It took me some time to locate the secret hidden drawer. The escritoire is large and heavy and will be shipped via freight; shipping charge in continental US is included in this most reasonable price for a very rare unique French Farmhouse Antique. The escritoire is in good very old condition expected in a true antique over 200 years old; the cylinder roll top is a little off track but still rolls perfectly; the salmon color paint is chippy in several locations; the towle painted French tulips on cream background are bright and colorful.
