antique Knickerbocker 21" teddy bear with straw and button eyes - $300 - (Middleton, WI)
This is an ol' rare teddy. 21" and looks taller. It has presence. Knickerbocker or handmade perhaps but does not come with a tush tag. He is fill with straw. You can see the lines of sewing but there are not any openings. This bear is more than 50 yrs old probably from the 50s. His 'fur' is in great condition except for a bit clear part in one leg. He is clean, happy and ready to become part of your family. His eyes were encased in aluminum but one was missing. We did replaced both eyes and added the bow tie for the loving season. We restore toys. We do research to match the items most likely original looks. I have lots of books and info on teddy bears.
