Appraised at $38,000.00 The George Steck Piano Company was established in New York in 1857. During the 19th Century they offered a full line of superior quality squares, uprights, and grand pianos. In 1904, George Steck became a part of the Aeolian Piano Company, which later became the Aeolian-American Corporation. With the backing of the huge Aeolian company, George Steck was able to produce an extraordinary number of high quality pianos and player pianos during the first part of the 20th Century.
