2008 17.5" CWD SE01 Full calfskin close contact jump saddle - 3L flap, medium tree, pro-panels, Made in France. Retailed for $5800+. Saddle is structurally in very good condition. Tree is sound. Billets are good. Some normal discoloration on the flaps and seat which is typical of this lighter colored calfskin. Both flaps show wear which is standard for a saddle of its age. Seat is in good shape with some average seam wear. Underpanels are in excellent condition. Saddle was owned by one owner who loved it and maintained it. She had both knee pads replaced by CWD and a patch put on one side of it when the calfskin rubbed through (NOT a cheap fix to the tune of $800 for all work done). Knee blocks are in fine shape and one thigh block has the top of leather worn through to the actual block - still very usable and unable to be seen. Saddle also has old nameplate holes ready for its next owners. (nameplate was glued to the leather so when it was removed it left a blemish on the leather).This is a nice saddle for the money and if you desperately would love to have a CWD but can't afford thousands on even well-worn saddles, check this one out.
