Coors Pottery Storz Beer Refreshing as the Whole Outdoors Ashtray Circa 1960's - $250 - (Frederic, WI)

This is a Storz Beer ashtray from the 1960's made by Coors Pottery Company in Golden. It has the Storz logo and has the slogan " Refreshing as the whole outdoors". These ashtrays are very rare and I don't use the word rare often. It is from the same mold as the D shape ashtray Coors utilized in the same era. It is not marked on the bottom. If you were Storz would you want the word Coors on the bottom of your ashtray? Absolutely not. Storz was sold in 1966 and stopped production completely in 1972. This ashtray measures approx. 5 3/4" across and weighs 6 1/2 oz. It is not absolutely perfect but close. There are 12 photos, please check them before purchasing. Any questions, please contact me.
