A common site on a 60 and 70's dinner table, were the wooden salt and peppers! I should no, I grew up in a house hold with a set! This one is a little rough in the varnish, but could easily be re-paired with just a little elbow grease. Both have their stoppers in tact and the grinder still works fine. Not sure what type of wood but would guess a teak or mahogany. These stand at 4 1/2 inches tall for the salt shaker and about 5 1/2 inches tall for the pepper shaker/grinder. They measure aproximately 2 1/2 inches across at the base.
