1964 FENDER MUSTANG This is a RARE 1964 Fender Mustang guitar in the desirable Sonic Blue Finish. It is in great condition, plays and sounds wonderful! There is light to medium checking and surface finish cracks typical of a 50 year old guitar. There is some minor wear on the back of the neck. It has the original frets! This guitar is 100% original with the exception of a changed volume pot dated from 1976. There is some repaired wiring to go along with that. All other electronics, including the pickups, switches and tone pot are dated from 1964. The guitar has nice low action all the way up the neck and plays easily. It has been setup with a new set of strings and is ready to play. It will be shipped in its original hard shell case inside a packing carton. The middle latch doesn't work but the other two latches do work. A fine example of an instrument made famous by Kurt Cobain. Please note that this is a vintage era instrument and not brand new.
