Welcome to my auction! This is a wonderful example of a traditional, art deco vintage chenille bedspread. The colors are absolutely marvelous, with hues of rich, warm burgundy, mauve and cream. This chenille has the weight and loft of a new old stock bedspread, as it was likely used/washed sparingly. I love this quintessential mid century modern design and romantic, dramatic color way.Condition: Excellent, mint-like vintage condition. I could find no flaws. The groundcloth is very sturdy, and there is no fading on these gorgeous colors. It looks as good as it did when it was brought home years ago. It does not bear a tag, so I cannot say who made this bedspread. This is a very heavy chenille.Size: Approximately 86 inches x 104 inches. Square corners. No fringe. Not tagged.This was displayed on a California King sized bed. I delight in selling vintage and most of the time--used--vintage linens. They may not always be in pristine condition, but they still have a lot of life left in them. I will take the time to inspect and point out the flaws that I find, because I want you to be entirely happy. I'm a little particular like that.
