Vintage 1980's from Soviet Russia white cotton twin size duvet cover.Made in Soviet Russia (USSR).This duvet cover is European style with open oval shape center in the middle. This style of duvet allows easy placement of your blanket or comforter inside of the duvet through this oval opening in the center. You just have to insert blanket through the center opening and smooth it out (see my photo with blanket in the center).Also this style is the great way to "show off" your colorful and pretty blanket (in Russia colorful satin blankets were used for this purpose).The duvet cover is 55" x 85" (143cm x 215cm).Made of breathable 100% cotton fabric. It will keep you cool in hot summers and warm in cold winters.Rare vintage duvet cover that could be used year around and which will keep your blanket clean and protected. The blanket is not for sale and only for display. Condition:The duvet cover is brand new and clean and with original tags from Soviet Russia. It was brought in 1980 from Russia and was stored away all these years.
