Two A Stowell Coin Silver Teaspoons Baltimore 1855 - $50 - (Tallahassee, FL)

Very nice set of 2 teaspoons marked for A Stowell.  I believe this to be A Stowell Jr. who worked in Baltimore, Maryland in the 1850s.  He went into partnership with the established firm of Gould and Ward in 1855.  Spoons are in a shape typical of 1850s manufacture and I have seen this sharp tip on other spoons by this maker.  Marked A. STOWELL with a beautiful script monogram of C.Martin.  Some signs of wear but overall very good condition.  Length is right at 6 " and total weight is 29g.
