The book is handsomely illustrated by famed artist Hugh Thomson in 40 full pages, with an introduction by Austin Dobson. The book was printed in 1903 (113 years old!). The book is in very good condition. Front board is very clean, back board has some light stains, light shelf wear mostly around top and bottom of spine and corners. The gilt title and floral decorations on the front cover are bright and colorful. Book is very slightly bowed. Binding is very good, no loose page, no crack. There is no ripped or missing page. Pages are very clean, no stain, foxing to inside cover and end pages (see last photo). There is no mark or hand-writing on pages. All and all the book condition is very good - very rare after 112 years!
