Vintage Antique Hand Handmade Oval Wool Braided Rug 8'2" X 7'5" - $600 - (Somersworth, NH)

This is a colorful antique handmade wool oval braided rug, about 8'2" X 7'5". It was made from wool, wool blend by hand braiding and sewing very tightly, see pictures 9 and 10 of the wrong side of the rug; you can see tiny stitches. It was made with medium braids, about 3/4" wide. I was told the rug was made around 1960s but I believe it was not used at all because it did not lay flat when I bought it ( see the last 2 pictures showing the rug did not lay flat). It must be stores away for many years. I took a lot of time to repair it, now it is flat and ready to be used. The rug has beautiful colors. In the picture of the whole rug, you can see some things that look like spots, but they are reflections from my camera, Please check out all the pictures to see condition of the rug.
