Antique ART POTTERY TILES Grapes Cherry Green Red 6 inch Suspect Paducah Pottery A pair of Gorgeous 1/2 inch thick Antique Ceramic Tiles; Architectural Salvage removals. Unmarked but VERY SIMILAR in glaze color and pattern as those pictured in Karlson's beautiful "American Art Tile Book" on page 198 and attributed to Paducah Pottery (which later became Bauer Pottery). No cracks or chips, does have a small amount of mortar on the rear, and typical tile manufacturing artifacts (e.g. clay voids), Please see photos. Unmarked, tiles are about 5 3/4 inches square (allowing for 1/4 inch grout joint) and about 1/2 inches thick (not including the pattern projections). These would make a gorgeous focal point in an installation or restoration, or could be framed and displayed, or just enjoyed as-is.
