Agfa Automatic 66 Camera (6x6cm) - $2,500 - (Rohnert Park, CA)
Agfa Automatic 66 Type 6004Made in Germany in 1956, about 1,000 were made during this one year. The camera shows signs of wear from use and age but I do not see any sort of abuse.(Brassing on back door and white mark on leather) This is a 6x6cm medium format folder equipped with a Solignar 75mm f/3.5 lens.Serial # U17190 Shutter works and fires, glass is clean and free of any defects. Selenium light meter does not function. Camera only works in manual setting, not "A". Rangefinder focuses and works currently, patch is visible and stronger than some of my other rangefinders. Camera was film tested in April of 2016. I shot with Agfapan 50 and hand processed in D76 in my school's darkroom. Negatives were scanned with an Epson V700 with little processing. Disclaimer: When I received the camera the rangefinder patch did not operate. I put a small dab of fine lubricant on the pivoting arm for the rangefinder and rangefinder arm started to freely move and focus. Camera also comes with original case (not pictured) but has been torn in half. Camera is being sold "As-Is," I try my best to be honest and descriptive. Please look at photographs before bidding.
