There is no doubt in my mind as to the era this is from or to the authenticity of it. I discussed it with Bulter at our local show and he agreed with my termanology on it. Multiple dealers and passer bys all agreed on its era BUT as we know its rare for people to agree on point types. In the past things were simple. I have zero doubt that Rogers or anyone else will agree this is an ancient unaltered item, but as many of us know there is no telling when the person may put on it for a type name.....
