A spectacular Brazilian lapis lazuli mantel clock with dore´ bronze, dial applied with pierced hands and Roman chapters, supported by two sitting dore´ bronze Chinese figures, with rectangular lapis plinth, signed E.F. Caldwell & Co, New York. The movement is signed Chelsea Clock Co, Boston, USA, #190295. Probably dates to the early 20th century.
