Antique Mouthblown Glass Perfume Bottle - $279 - (Fort Bragg, CA)
Unique Antique perfume bottle, tapered, round solid clear glass with a small bubble-like depression for perfume. (Approx. 1/2oz. capacity) Completely within bottle about 1/3" above base is a floating layer of small celery green splotches and larger clear bubbles seeming to float towards surface. Slightly above green layer floats a cranberry and clear layer with random clear bubbles drifting upward. From these extends a trail of cranberry rising up and around perfume bubble. Stopper is round with several clear bubbles amongst a swirl of cranberry strands which appear to form a stylized floral design. Bottle measures 4-3/4"H x 2-3/3"W (at shoulders) X 2"at base. Excellent condition. Purchased in San Francisco from antique shop in 1941. Possibly European in origin.
