They were made in France (see French Eagle hallmark), circa 1890. These exquisite earrings feature two old miner cut diamonds set in a lovely antique mounting with 2 rose cut diamonds set on top. Old mine cut diamond are .45 carat and .46 carat actual weight. We had the diamonds out of the mountings to weigh. Each diamond measures 4.6mm in diameter appoximately. There are 2 more small rose cut diamonds 2-3 points each set on top. The large diamonds are estimated to be very clean VS-2 in clarity and H in color (near colorless). Outstanding diamonds!! Grand total diamond weight is estimated to be .96 carats for the pair. Very sparkly!! These earrings are crafted in rich 18K yellow gold and the diamonds are set in platinum topped white gold.
