Rare Early Janet Turner Aquatint Etching, Rocks, Moss, Lichen, 1964 5/30 Signed - $695 - (Austin, TX)

For your consideration, a rare early Janet Turner print titled Rocks, Moss, Lichen.  Per the Janet Turner Print Museum archives at California State University at Chico, the print dates to 1964.  This one was framed and gifted later in 1966.  The print is numbered 5 out of a small edition of only 30.  Signed and numbered in pencil, the print is in great shape.  Mild scratching to frame.  Print comes with a 1967 newspaper clipping about Turner winning an art award.  Back of the frame lists the work as a serigraph but it looks like an aquatint etching.   Print measures 6.5x9.5 inches in matting, frame measures approximately 12.25x15.75 inches. Signature required for delivery.
