An exceptional Georgian English Chippendale mahogany partners desk. The rectangular top with gilt-tooled leather writing surface, above three frieze drawers, the same on reverse. The pedestal bases each with three drawers on both sides with bold case handles and raised on a plinth base, late 18th-early 19th century. Appears to be period hardware. Excellent overall condition, with minor corner bumps, minor restorations, a few leather scratches, other imperfections and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 31" h x 62" w x 37 1/2" d.
