Handmade 14k 18k Antique vintage 20 CTW Amethyst earrings custom detailing 2" - $2,292 - (Alexandria, VA)

Each of these incredibly unique earrings has a large approx 10 carat faceted natural amethyst with surrounding millgrain detail set in 14kt gold. There is a semi circular laurel leaf design which is a higher carat gold, 18kt or higher. There is millgrain detail around the perimeter, and larger millgrain detail just below the leverback closures. The original hook fasteners have been replaced with leverbacks which are much more secure. The earrings together weigh an impressive 17 grams. The center amethysts dangle freely and have movement. It appears that the approx 18k laurel leaf detail rests on a 14k Rose gold oval frame, the contrast enhances the earrings overall. They are two inches in length. An appraisal will be available in several days.
