Reserved Listing Qiviut 100% Musk Ox Economy 4 ounces - $120 - (Coos Bay, OR)

RESERVED LISTING: 4 OUNCES economy grade Qiviut Fiber. This is a wonderful soft fiber from the Musk Ox. Musk Ox live in the arctic tundra and are found in Alaska, Greenland, Canadian Arctic, Sweden, Siberia, and Norway. They have a dense outer coat of guard hair, but the undercoat is very fine and considered one of the warmest fibers in the world. There is quite a bit of volume with this fiber and it is clean and ready to use. It does have a short staple but due to the texture even a less experienced spinner should enjoy working with this. It has been dehaired and carded into ready to spin form. Note: I usually take close up photos. Please read the description to determine what you are buying - I don't want you to be disappointed in your purchase. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their country might charge. I am a small home based cottage industry called PLUM CRAZY RANCH & FIBER ART home of furry French Angora Rabbits, mini long haired dachshunds, and lots of wonderfully soft and exotic fibers.
